Maple-Glazed Salmon Fillets
By Leora Barak
1/4 cup pure maple syrup
2 tbsps tamari sauce, organic + gluten-free
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 tsp ginger root, grated (optional, but recommended)
Salt to taste (about 1/4 tsp should suffice)
Pinch of black pepper
3-4 large wild alaskan salmon fillets
Preheat oven to 395F.
In a small bowl, mix together the maple syrup, tamari sauce, garlic, salt/pepper and ginger.
Place salmon fillets in a glass shallow dish and pour the sweet sauce on top of fillets.
Bake, uncovered, for 25 minutes, while intermittently spooning the sauce on top of the fillets to keep them from drying. The fillets are ready when you can easily flake them with a fork.
Serve hot and enjoy!
